I have always considered Ego a separate thing, that “dirty” part of our Mind that we need to get rid of somehow. However, it is impossible not to have an Ego in this World as our Ego created it.
Quantum physics experiments prove that our perceived reality reflects our observation. We are used to considering our World fixed, stable and objective, but it is far from it.
When we observe the World, we see something that appears and feels physical. However, at the sub-atomic level, all objects are mostly empty space. What feels physical is a collection of entities we call atoms. Atoms are not physical; they are quantum objects that can be physical and non-physical.
This dual nature of atoms is one of the weird effects of the quantum World. Atoms are really spinning vortexes of energy, forming wave patterns. These wave patterns “collapse” when observed, forming the physicalness of the World. This physicalness is only momentary and only happens when the World is observed. So the act of observation is the act of creation. When the World is not observed, it is just a fuzzy field of multidimensional electromagnetic radiation.
Our World is a creation of our collective observation. The observation is done through our minds, and unfortunately, our Minds have been corrupted due to separation from our Creator, forming unhealthy Egos.
The divine plan is to live in Unity with everything at all times. This is a life where we regard everything and everyone as equal value and feel the interconnectedness of everything and everyone.
As we have corrupted Minds and unhealthy Egos, we also have a corrupted and sick World. If you are conscious enough, you see this being very true.
The Adam and Eve story in the Bible is a story of separation from the Creator. This separation was created by the corruption represented by the snake in the story.
The snake relates to life force and how we use it. As with any power, we can use this force for good or bad. When actions are not aligned with the highest truth, it starts corrupting Minds and the World. The World we experience is always a reflection of the state of our Mind or our Ego.
In my first ever Ayahuasca journey, I saw a vision about this which I only truly understand today, and it gave me the impulse to write this text. I struggled with the medicine drink, as it was my first time and drinking Ayahuasca is always a very intense experience. The medicine drink really pushes one’s Ego and Mind to their limits. I was in extreme pain and struggling as I was trying to control the journey instead of surrendering to it. This is the primary teaching of that medicine. To surrender to what is. I saw a vision of my head (or Mind) in a round room with mirrors covering the walls. Whatever the Mind was trying to see, it only saw itself. It could not see anything else. The Mind can only see itself. Likewise, our Ego can only see itself in the World.
Everything is a reflection of our observation. Everything. We are inside a mirror world of our Ego. To get out, we need to break the mirrors.
The human World is founded on a desire to be an individual. This is what Ego really means. It is a separation from Oneness to be an Individual. This separation comes with many issues, such as the illusion of negativity, the illusion of space and time and the illusion of life and death.
This idea is conveyed in one of the Matrix movies (The Matrix Revolutions). Neo is stuck at this train station called Mobil Ave. This is an anagram for Limbo Avenue. Our Ego is always in a state of Limbo, as it can only perceive itself. After a while, a train arrives at Mobile Ave, and the train is called Loop. This represents the Mind (or Ego) in a constant loop or circle repeating itself. This train takes some people out of Limbo, but Neo is not allowed. Later on, using the power of Love and some focused action Trinity rescues Neo from the state of Limbo.
Only Love and focused action allow us to break the mirrors of the Ego. But Love is so misunderstood. Real Love has nothing to do with romantic Love or attachments (although we practice understanding real Love in romantic relationships). Love is simply a state of harmony where the internal distortions of our Psyche (inner masculine and feminine) have been temporarily dissolved. We are in a perfect state of harmony when we genuinely experience Love. When we enter that Unconditional Love state, we understand that everything is one and ok.
Back to Ego, the Loop of Ego. As my Teacher Abdy says:
All you notice is the circle that you are in. That circle is your Ego.
We cannot perceive anything other than our Ego with our “normal” senses. It is impossible. With our higher senses, we can touch the truth and connect with the Source of the creation, but our Mind will never understand this or can even describe the journey to the Source. Our Higher Mind can realise it, but we rarely can access that higher state once in this dimension.
The foundation of our World is based on a construct prepared by the Universal Mind. There is only one Mind, which perceives itself in the process we call life. We believe we are individuals, but we really are not. We are just reflections of the Universal Mind looking at itself.
What is the purpose of this? There is no real purpose other than allowing the Child to reach the state of God. All the reflections or cells of the One Mind need to reach the state of liberation for the Child to become a God. We are inside this universal Mind, or we are the universal Mind. This universal Mind is seeking liberation through its cells by experiencing everything. It is trying every possibility.
